Why choose us?

From nursing care and respite care, to meals on wheels and home care, we offer a range of care services for people across Torpoint and South East Cornwall.

Support for all

Choosing a care provider for your or your relative is a big decision. Our role is to help you create a truly personal care plan, to make sure you receive care that’s best suited to your needs.

It’s also important to us for your relatives to be as much a part of Torcare as you are, which is why we will involve you every step of the way. Find out more about how families have a say in how our care homes and care services are run through our Care Standards Committee.

Thirty years’ experience

With over thirty years’ experience, we have the expertise to give you advice appropriate to your circumstances. You are our priority, and our care plans are person-centred to ensure everyone is comfortable, happy and receives the best level of care possible.

Understanding care fees

The world of care homes and care fees can often be quite confusing for relatives. With a lack of information about care fees readily available, many families are having to go without the care funding that they may well be entitled to.

Our finance manager is on hand to help you and your family understand your options and learn more about what support is available to help pay for care fees. Whether your relative is already in a care home, is receiving home care or whether you’re simply looking to learn more about the options available, we’re here to help offer as much guidance and support to make the transition to care as smooth as possible.

We’re very pet-friendly

At Torcare, we love animals and so pets are very welcome at each of our care homes and nursing homes. There’s no need to leave your faithful companion behind when you come to live with us, bring them with you.

Resident Experiences

There are only so many words that we can use to describe the level of care and support that can be expected from our team at Torcare. In reality, nothing explains our service better than hearing directly from some of those who’ve experienced our care first-hand.
