Our History

Torcare first opened its doors to residents in 1981, founded by the Fourniss family. Torcare’s vision is to offer residents a dignified ‘home from home’ care experience and provide a supportive environment that champions the quality of life for residents.

Torcare have used their high level of expertise to acquire and develop two further residential and nursing homes. The Torpoint Nursing Centre and Port Rouge.

Torcare remains a family run business and is completely committed to offering person-centred care in a community atmosphere.
