The Centre is dedicated to create a flexible, caring, homely environment for the medically and chronic sick. This includes both in-patients and day-patients who are physically disabled, the terminally and elderly mentally ill.

Purpose-built to exacting standards, Torpoint Nursing Centre offers a variety of accommodation laid out in easily managed wings, each with its own dining room and day area. This allows our caring teams to concentrate on the unique need of each resident.

The Nursing Centre stands in mature gardens, just across the River Tamar from Plymouth, just a few hundred yards level walk form Torpoint.

Bedrooms - Your Choice is Important

Bedrooms at Torpoint Nursing Centre are beautifully decorated and furnished throughout. Designed for maximum comfort, each room also has its own modern nurse-call system.

There are larger rooms for residents who enjoy company and single rooms with en-suite facilities for those who like to spend time alone. Obviously we are always happy for residents to bring their own belongings.
