The torpoint nursing centre is the largest of our three homes, where we care for people in four separate units. Three of our units offer specialist care for resident's suffering from dementia, and our fourth unit cares for people with physical disabilities, including terminal illness.

As our CQC star rating indicates, the torpoint nursing centre prides itself on the very high standards of personal and social care provided by our well qualified and trained multidisciplinary staff team. We have a comprehensive system of care planning that ensures the involvement of residents and their relatives together with a policy of regular discussion and information sharing.

Our occupational therapy team has a vital role to assist our residents to achieve a fulfilled life whilst maintaining the highest level of choice and independence. Our staffing levels are high to reflect this important aspect of our care and to  ensure that each resident who wishes to can engage fully in all that we offer.
