Mother's Day Celebrations

On the 6th March Torcare celebrated Mother’s Day with a cream tea party where staff, residents and family members could celebrate this special day together.
We had the Poslips, a local couple who visited us singing old classic songs as we ate scones, cream and jam and the residents enjoyed a sherry. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon entertainment from dancing, toe tapping and even some singing.
Prior to the day staff, visitors and residents knitted the ‘flower buttonholes’ which was a great memento of the day.
We would like to say a big thank you to Poslip for coming along and making our Mother’s Day special and the continuing support we receive from friends and family at our events.

Resident Experiences

There are only so many words that we can use to describe the level of care and support that can be expected from our team at Torcare. In reality, nothing explains our service better than hearing directly from some of those who’ve experienced our care first-hand.
