Domiciliary Care

The community care act 1993 has ensured that people requiring care and wishing to remain in their own home may have services provided to meet their needs. These services are purchased privately or may be financed by the local social services authority following a financial assessment.

Torcare provides an extensive range of domiciliary care services which are commissioned independently or purchased by social services. These include:

All clients referred are visited by our care manager together they discuss the client’s requirements and wishes and agree a care plan. The care manager continues her contact throughout the provision of service.

Experienced nurses and care assistants are carefully selected for their skills and expertise in caring for people at home. This expertise is maintained by regular monitoring and training.
