Hear from some of the relatives of our residents about their experience of the care that we provide at Torcare.
“From day one when he came in for respite care the homely, friendly atmosphere struck me and this was the place that we chose when I could no longer care for him at home.
I cannot praise the staff highly enough, Mavis and the other cooks, the cleaners, the carers, the handyman and yourself. Everyone at The Old Vicarage contributes to making the home as comfortable for its residents as possible and I would have no hesitation in recommending it”
“My mother has been living at Porte Rouge for over three years now and is very content there. The staff are chatty, caring, committed and very professional, always maintaining the residents’ dignity and treating them with respect. The home is bright and airy, with modern facilities, cosy bedrooms and a varied menu of good food. Various social activities and events are laid on, and efforts are made to cater to the wishes of residents with particular interests.”
“I am very happy with the level of care and support my mother receives at Porte Rouge and would definitely recommend it to anybody else taking the tough decision of considering residential care for their parent or any other relative in need.”
“My mother has been a resident of Porte Rouge for nearly 18 months and I must say it is a pleasure to visit her and see how content, happy and clean she is kept. Also I have noticed how all the other residents I see are also well looked after and how the staff all try to keep them occupied as much as possible.”
“They take time out for day trips around the local areas, and also youngsters come up every Wednesday to sing songs with the residents and they really seem to enjoy this. Before I finish I must thank all the staff for making this stay for my mother, and all the other residents, feel as if they are at home, and they feel confident to ask the staff for anything.”
There are only so many words that we can use to describe the level of care and support that can be expected from our team at Torcare. In reality, nothing explains our service better than hearing directly from some of those who’ve experienced our care first-hand.Read More..
