Patricia Knell - Training Manager

As an employer, we are always looking to improve our staff’s skills. We view this as an important investment in the individuals that we employ. We want to improve our teams skills because the direct beneficiary of this will be our residents. We have teamed up with Acacia Training who partner with us to provide NVQ training for all our staff to gain qualifications whilst they work with us.
Our training department is headed by Patricia Knell. Patricia has worked for Torcare for 25 years. She accrued an enormous amount of experience as a department manager of our Residential Home at Antony for a number of years before taking up the post of Training Manager. Pat is responsible for delivering the majority of staff training including ongoing health and safety training, food hygiene courses, first aid and induction training for all new recruits. She has also developed our specialist dementia care training package.
