What is the Care Standards Committee?

At Torcare we’re quite unique in having a committee of relatives that have a direct say in how we run each of our care homes in South East Cornwall. Our Care Standards Committee (CSC) allows relatives to help shape all aspects of our care services.

The Torcare Care Standards Committee consists of current residents’ families and friends, and even those whose relatives have sadly passed away. They meet regularly with our staff to ensure our care remains at the highest possible standard and recommend ways they think we can improve our service and care.
